Kuban SAU held XIV International Research-to-Practice Conference “Agrarian Economy of Russia: Problems and Development Strategies”. For the conference our University welcomed distinguished guests: Elena Goracheva, Professor of Chair for Legal Regulation of Economic Affairs of Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz, Kazakhstan, Francesco Zecca, Professor of Agrarian Economy, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, and Eduard Kazarian, Professor of Economy of Armenian National Agrarian University, Armenia. Before the conference Mr. Zecca and Mr. Kazarian held lections for Economics Faculty students. Francesco Zecca shared his research results concerning Perspectives of Organic Agriculture Development in the World while Eduard Kazarian told about Agricultural Sector of Armenia.

This is not the first time for the guests to come to our University as the Conference is traditionally held at Kuban SAU for the 14th time. Our University has been cooperating with Armenian National Agrarian University, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz, and Sapienza University of Rome for many years. All partner universities underline that their long-term cooperation not only promotes research projects but also improves cooperation between countries.

XIV International Research-to-Practice Conference “Agrarian Economy of Russia: Problems and Development Strategies” was opened by Tatyana Polutina, Vice-Rector for International and Youth Policy of behalf of Alexander Trubilin, Kuban SAU Rector. The conference started after welcoming introduction of the participants.

The guests and professors of our University delivered their reports dedicated to relevant agro-economic issues at the plenary session. The conference participants addressed many challenging questions to the speakers.

At the end the plenary session the speakers were awarded with XIV International Research-to-Practice Conference Participation Certificates. After the session the participants had a round table meeting where it was possible to have a more detailed discussion, develop the themes and deal with decision making.

The main issues of the conference were discussed during the second day. The conference committee experts had a challenging task of choosing best lecturers’ and students’ reports. There were about 180 reports made by students and 40 made by lecturers of not only Kuban SAU and the Southern Federal District but also of other countries.    According to Konstantin Tiupakov, Economics Faculty Dean, this Conference was an outstanding one as together with students of Economics Faculty the students of Applied Informatics and Land Management Faculties also took part in the Conference. The reports for the Conference were sent by the students and lecturers of Moscow, Stavropol, Ulan-Ude, Rostov-on-Don, Rome, Erevan etc.

Best reports were awarded with Kuban State Agrarian University Diplomas and Science and Education Fund Diplomas. The Fund traditionally supports young scientists and assists our University with organization of International Economy Conference.
