Two students of Kuban SAU are right now in Portugal. Since mid-March, they have been studying remotely at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.
The Institute has an educational portal, which is used for sending out training materials, homework, tests and student projects. The University administration notifies students of important news by email. All important information is duplicated in English.
The students, who do not have the opportunity to work on a personal computer, can benefit from the support program for the provision of electronic devices.
“Our syllabus for this semester only includes final qualifying work and defense, so we also keep in touch with our thesis advisors by means of electronic mail,” the compatriots say. “We must find advantages even in this situation. We have a unique chance to live and study in another country, to know its culture and customs, and to see how European countries cope with the situation of global crisis.”
