Fourth-year and master's students of the Faculty of Agrochemistry and Plant Protection accompanied by Ivan Lebedovskiy, the Faculty's Dean, and Sergey Kovalev, the teaching assistant of the agrochemistry department, have visited the field agrotechnological conference organized by ‟PhosAgroˮ and ‟Rostselmashˮ companies in association with the International Institute of Plant Nutrition.
The conference was held on the basis of the modern agroholding ‟AgroGardˮ in Korenovskiy district. The representatives of Krasnodar Region's Ministry of Agriculture, the heads of farms, the scientists of agro-industrial complex and the specialists of the region's agricultural sector took part in it. Terry Roberts, the director of the International Plant Nutrition Institute, and Andrey Vovk, the general director of ‟RosAgro-Regionˮ, as well as the representatives of the regional administration, addressed their welcoming speech to the participants of the conference.
The students heard reports devoted to an effective plant nutrition system for obtaining high yields, nutrient availability depending on the form of mineral fertilizers, practical experience of liquid complex fertilizers application on the crops of various cultures and innovative methods of tillage with modern machinery.
The organizers gave master classes on preparation of spray material and calculation of doses of agrochemicals, used for foliage application.
Moreover, young agrochemists had a look at the assortment of modern highly effective mineral fertilizers used in farms.
