Postgraduate student of the Department of World Economy of KubSAU and a student of Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Daria Zorina is an intern at the Peruvian Diplomatic Academy.

That is what Daria tells about her internship

"I’ve been in Peru for three months. I’ve survived a 20-hour flight, two earthquakes, time difference of 9 hours, eight exams in Spanish, got accustomed to local food (which is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the most diverse in the world) and climate (now it is autumn in Peru, winter is coming).

Peruvian Diplomatic Academy is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of the country to obtain a second higher education. Future diplomats take eight difficult entrance exams and only 20 entrants with the best results enter the academy every year. All students receive a scholarship and upon graduation they join Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the third secretary level. Studying is clearly difficult, classes take place from 8 am to 6 pm.

Among the teachers are well-known scientists, professors, ministers, ambassadors. One of the honored teachers of the Academy is the former ambassador of Peru in Russia Umberto Umeres. The Academy is small, only 48 students, including four foreign scholars (from the Czech Republic, Bolivia, Suriname and Russia). The next goal I am planning to achieve is to pass exams successfully, apply for an internship at the embassy and take part in the preparations for the UN Conference on Climate Change which is to be held in Lima in December.

I would like to wish success to my beloved economics faculty of KubSAU, to its students and to advise them to learn foreign languages?, because it is the key that opens the door to new countries, travel, experiences and acquaintances. This is something that will make your career more successful and life – more interesting. Set yourself new goals andachieve them! "
