Today Kuban SAU welcomes very distinguished guests. The delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands visited our university. Among the delegates were Renée Jones-Bos, the Netherlands Ambassasor to Russia, Louise Fresco, President of Wageningen University, Meeuwes Brouwer, agriculture adviser of the Netherlands embassy in Moscow, and representatives of Dutch production companies.

The delegates had a vivid business programme. Alexander Trubilin, Kuban SAU Rector bilateral meeting with the Kingdom of the Netherlands representatives was held first of all other meetings. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation with Wageningen University, which is one of the Netherlands largest research centers.

The second stage of the programme was a businesssession with production companies’ representatives. Alexander Trubilin told the guests about Kuban SAU and then the companies’ representatives held presentations. The range of business interests included vegetable farming, seed production, dairy cattle production and greenhouse technologies. Pavel Nosalenko, director of instructional farm Krasnodarskoe, shared his experience in agricultural sphere with the foreign colleagues.

President’s of Wageningen University lecture arouse KubSAU students’ interest. Louise Fresco gave a lecture on food security in English language. The Dutch scientist told about threats to the modern community in the context agriculture, agrarian science achievements and future of global food security Ms. Fresco answered students’ questions after the lecture.
