January 29, students of the Kuban SAU Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens had visited Regional Art Museum of Fyodor Kovalenko and acquainted the monuments of architecture and art of Krasnodar. There are exhibited the works of Russian art in XVI-XX centuries.
Our group listened with a great interest the story of the guide about the works that have become a trademark of the museum. There are majestic "Ekaterina II" of famous portraitist Vladimir Borovikovsky, the brilliant "Italian Lady" of Ivan Makarov, and also landscapes of Ivan Aivazovsky, Ivan Shishkin and other talented artists.
Today, as many centuries ago, we admire the immortal creations of great masters collected by art lovers and collectors of the past times.
