As part of a cooperation agreement with the College of Engineering Roorkee (COER), Nikolay Kurchenko, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of electric machines and motor drives, began online course of lectures “Application of electric technologies in agriculture” for students at the University of Engineering and Technology Roorkee (UETR).
This form of cooperation is not the first experience of interaction between educational institutions but the continuation of work as part of the agreement signed in 2019. A business trip to COER was the first step towards joint activity. Associate professors Nikolay Kurchenko and Yakov Ilchenko gave lectures for Indian students. Earlier in the year, Nikolay Kurchenko taught an online course in precision farming technologies.
With the development of international relations and the creation of new education programmes, COER was entitled to change its status and become a university. As a result of cooperation, associate professors Nikolay Kurchenko and Yakov Ilchenko were invited to become honorary mentors at UETR. We look forward to further developing bilateral relations.
