Students of different universities of Krasnodar came out as diplomats. This kind of conference can be considered a case study of international negotiations which helps students to apply their academic knowledge and to get new skills. The participants discussed issues in a civilized and democratic manner, pronounced on the law for free expression of opinions for solution to generic issues. Main requirements for taking part in the conference were readiness and skill to follow common rules as well as respect to major opinion.
The conference started with welcoming address of professor Konstantin Tyupakov, Faculty of Economics Dean and Eleonora Naynodina, Department of International and External Relations Head. After the address representatives of countries made reports and discussed different opinions on topical issues.
Conference special guests Tatyana Polutina, Vice-Rector for International and Youth Policy and Igor Ratushnyak third secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Office in Krasnodar shared their experience in international activities.
Krasnodar Model UN 2017 ended with participation certificates delivery ceremony. Mr. Tyupakov thanked conference organizers Regina Zybinskaya and Vyacheslav Gonezhuk, students of Economy and International Economic Activity Chair.
Kuban SAU volunteers helped to organize and hold the conference. The volunteers dealed with registration, coordinating and awarding of conference participants.
“I have already taken part in such events for many times. In this regard I would like to note that this model was organized very well. I was also favorably impressed with the delegates from different universities. The conference kept the participants in suspense from the very beginning to the resolution acceptance”, said Artem Derkach, Faculty of Economics student.
