May 6, 1960 is a starting point in the history of the Faculty of Economics of Kuban SAU.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the RSFSR issued the Order designed to increase the plan of admission and to open new faculties in agricultural universities of the country exactly 60 years ago. Training of specialists was carried out in the fields of Agricultural Economics and Accounting.
The first intake was 123 students. Currently, about 1,000 full-time and part-time students study at this faculty. Over half a century later, the Faculty of Economics offers training in 6 educational programs of three levels of higher education.
