"Sochi has become really fantastic and my stay at the Olympics in 2014 - truly incredible! Exciting journey - so I could call it" - sharing her emotions and experiences, tells Diana Rozhnova, press service specialist and KubSAU volunteer at the same time.

I didn’t have any idea about what would happen to me during the Olympics. Right before my departure to Sochi the International Olympic Committee had sent me the note according to which I was to accompany His Majesty King Constantine II (Greece) and his wife, queen Anne-Marie. My mind just refused to believe it. But … Incredible things sometimes happen right beside you.

The eighth Day in Sochi gave me emotions and colored with fireworks my "tedious" weekdays, marked by appropriate training and 12-hour tours on Sochi attractions. It happened just like that.

It was almost a calm day, and I decided to relax before a difficult start. But then suddenly my mobile almost jumped up and ... It was a call from an unknown number. With a trembling hand I took my phone and answered. I heard some English speech: "Diana, good afternoon! This is the wife of King Constantine, Anne-Marie. We would like to meet and discuss our plans. Can we meet in half an hour during the lunch? ". For a moment I grew numb but a second later I was already on my way, heading for a lunch with the monarchs.

Former King of Greece (who reigned from 1964 until 1973) is Olympic swimming champion in 1960 ,an honorary member of the International Olympic Committee, a man with a rich pedigree (by the way, his great-grandmother is the Russian Grand Duchess Olga). Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, the wife of King Constantine II, is the youngest daughter of King Frederick IX of Denmark and his wife Ingrid of Sweden. She is the youngest sister of the reigning Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and cousin of the reigning King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

Soon my hard working days full of excitement, fun and bustle had begun. Every day promised me the latest news and great events… Nothing could be to forgotten, I could not lose a second.

And ... Have you heard kings singing? Believe me, this is an unforgettable feeling – hear king and queen singing in the back seat of our "carriage". Now I know who is the king that the monarchs prefer to listen to. Elvis Presley.

But now it is time to say goodbye to Her Majesty the Queen. Two days ago she went home, but we still keep in touch by phone.
